Caroline Walker is an organizational change management consultant and founder of Change Corporation, a communications and training business in Houston, Texas. Inspired by Houston's international community and her creative team in 2018, Caroline kicked off an internal project to create high-quality U.S. civics and English courses for U.S. Legal Permanent Residents applying for citizenship. Through hosting numerous meetups for immigrants and newcomers to Houston, Caroline spotted a need for an enriching and efficient study course to help busy candidates pass the U.S. Naturalization test.
Caroline graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing and Foreign Service. Before consulting, Caroline taught high school English and Journalism in Orange, Texas and produced an internationally acclaimed documentary film, Forgive Me Sergei, about the life of a Soviet defector. She is currently working on a second documentary about a Greek immigrant to Houston.
In 2023, Caroline hired Chuck Phillips as Chief Operations Officer. Chuck is an experienced leader who has lived abroad extensively and has a heart for both migrants and refugees, as he has been "a stranger in a strange place" too! As an adolescent, Chuck was taught the value of civics and service through Boy Scouts. Chuck served as a linguist in the US Military, graduating from The Defense Language Institute in Monterey California, and he has led a variety of businesses across many industries out of startup phase to scalable growth phase.
